I was born in Northern Kentucky and have lived all over the US, from the snowy north to the sunny south and many places in between. I consider New Orleans home, but I live in Austin, TX with my pack of wild cats and my (half-wild) fiance.
I'm a poet, artist and writer, focusing mainly on the speculative genres of fantasy, science fiction and horror. I write character driven stories because exploring the characters and their interactions (with the setting, other characters and society) is one of my favorite things about writing. I read across many genres, and enjoy anything that is well written and has vivid characters.
